Policy: It is Clocktrader’s policy to treat our customers in exactly the way we like to be treated ourselves. Our toes curl at the sight of small print, but it appears that not only to add to our credibility but to comply with new legislation (EC Distance Selling Directive) we are required to offer you our own 'large print' version. You should note that your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected (more probably enhanced).
Data & Privacy: The information collected from you at the time you register will be stored in our secure database and is used purely to carry out your instructions and action your payment. There are no circumstances under which this information might be passed to a third party.
Supply: We at Clocktrader (Tick Tock Time cc t/a) supply a market place where buyers, sellers and swoppers can meet and trade. We deliver a service of creating a community of traders with similar interests. For this service we charge a minimal once-off fee for periods of two weeks where your item will be displayed on clocktrader.co.za in accordance with the package chosen by yourself. We do not charge commission for the successful trading of your product! Tick Tock Time cc t/a Clocktrader does not carry any knowledge about specific items nor have we any of the items on clocktrader.co.za in stock and can in no way be held accountable for the delivery or supply of these items. In fact, the responsibility to ensure that an item exists firstly, in the condition as described secondly, and is delivered thirdly, rests with the buyer and seller or the two swoppers. Also bear in mind that we do not and cannot reasonably be expected to guarantee the successful sale, purchase or swopping of your item.
Contact: We will only contact you in connection with your instructions and keep you well informed should we have any difficulties providing the services you require. Other than this we will not email you at all without your permission.
Refunds: In the event of dissatisfaction with our service a full refund will be sent. If initial payment was by Credit Card, then the refund will be made back to your Credit Card Company. We need to remind you that we do not refund money in the event of an unsuccessful or unsatisfactory transaction with a third party whom you met on this site.
Payment: Our customers pay the amount agreed upon into our account before an advertisement is published.
VAT: VAT at 14% is included in the price of each package.
Complaints: Clearly we take any complaint very seriously and would expect to contact you almost by return.
Law and Jurisdiction: Any contract for your advertising on Clocktrader.co.za (Tick Tock Time cc t/a Clocktrader) is governed by and has to be interpreted under the laws of South Africa, and you agree that such contract will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
